MICHIE, Mitchell and Janeen

Mitchell and Janeen are from Regina, Saskatchewan. Mitchell has a Master of Applied Linguistics and Exegesis and a Master of Arts in Intercultural Ministries. He joined Wycliffe in 2004 and Janeen in 2007. They are blessed with three beautiful children: Joshua, Isaac, and Jenessa. The Michies work for Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea and are based at the mission centre in the Eastern Highlands province.
They work to make Scripture available to Kala and Binumarien language groups. Mitchell advises and trains national co-workers and fosters literacy among the language groups. Janeen has worked with the communications department as a professional photographer, writer, and producer of short films.
