DIRKS, Wayne and Valerie

Wayne and Valerie serve at Wycliffe Canada’s head office in Calgary, where they support the huge task of translating the Word of God into the languages of the world that don’t have it yet. Wayne helps in custom website programming and design. Valerie serves in a leadership role, supporting administrative roles.

Wayne and Valerie began their journey with Wycliffe in 1994, serving first in Kenya, where Wayne worked in IT support and Scripture publishing for 18 New Testaments in different languages across Africa. Valerie’s role included supporting other staff involved in the work.
