Hailing from Canada’s Yukon Territory, Nora serves with Wycliffe’s key partner, SIL, in Tanzania as a lexicography (i.e., dictionary) specialist in 2019 shortly before COVID-19 appeared, and spent much of her first term working from home in Canada. In 2021 she returned to East Africa and joined SIL Tanzania’s newly-formed remote office in neighbouring Rwanda, where she continues to do lexicography work and other linguistic tasks for Tanzanian language communities who desire to see the Word of God written in their own language.
