Support the next generation of Bible translators this summer
Around the world, Bible translation needs remain great. 1 in 5 people are still waiting for the Bible in their own language. To end Bible poverty in our generation, more workers are needed.
Payap University’s Linguistics MA program in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is raising up emerging leaders for the Bible translation movement. For all people to meet Jesus in their language, your support of national and regional translators is essential.
This summer, you can help provide a scholarship to an aspiring Bible translator receiving training to reach Southeast Asia, and beyond.
Your support will:
- Cover scholarship costs for students preparing to dedicate their lives to God’s mission. A Payap scholarship costs $55 a day.
- Open doors for dedicated believers who otherwise would not be able to access the training they need to join the Bible translation movement.
- Transform lives as Payap graduates are sent to advance Bible translation, literacy and language development work in hundreds of Bibleless communities around the world.
“The mission I intend to do after I graduate [from Payap] is to help these people recognize their identity, and see their true worth in Jesus Christ.” - Ingraw, a Payap University scholarship student
