LOTT, Jeremy and Tanya

South Pacific

Jeremy and Tanya Lott are from Northern Ontario and are currently serving in Papua New Guinea (PNG). They joined Wycliffe in 2010, and moved with their four children—Caleb (18), Daniel (14), Seth (12) and Steven (10)—to Ukarumpa, a large centre operated by Wycliffe’s key partner, SIL. Ukarumpa is home to around 600 people; a mix of missionaries from more than 10 countries and Papua New Guinean employees.  Jeremy works at the auto shop as an automotive trainer, and Tanya works at the clinic as a receptionist.

Jeremy is excited to be able to use his skills as an automotive mechanic to directly support Bible translation by keeping the vehicles they use maintained and running. These vehicles are used by translators, other missionaries, and departments such as the clinic ambulance, our fire truck, and vehicles that pick up supplies for our community. He also enjoys the opportunity to work on vehicles from other mission organizations. Tanya enjoys having the opportunity to work at the medical clinic as a part-time receptionist, supporting the physical and mental health of missionaries to keep them on the field.

Their family enjoys serving in PNG, and feels honoured to be used by the Lord there.
