Peter and Linda, along with their sons Isaac, Joel, and Kean, serve in Porto Velho, Brazil in aviation. Peter is as pilot, supporting Bible translation, Scripture use, and church planting.
Peter was born and raised in Bridgewater, N.S. until he left to attend Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Ill. There he met his wife, Linda who is from Appleton, Wis. They married in 2005 and moved to Washington State, where they continued with Moody Aviation in their mission aviation program.
In 2012, they joined Wycliffe and in 2014 moved to Brazil with their two boys. In May 2015, the couple gave birth to their third son–a Brazilian! They now work and minister out of Porto Velho, making flights to expedite and enable Bible translation, church planting, and discipleship.
“We love serving and enabling Bible translation because of the direct link it has to transforming people’s lives,” explains Peter. “As a pilot I get to hear firsthand stories of God working through His Word, changing lives and communities–all because God is speaking people’s heart language through His translated Word.”
