Did you know there are more than 500 languages spoken in Nigeria? Steve and Sonia have been serving in Nigeria since 1991, equipping Nigerians to be engaged in Bible translation and language development.
Steve grew up in Ontario’s Kitchener-Waterloo area. He met Sonia, who grew up in Brazil, in Dallas, Texas. They have two adult sons.
Steve serves as a linguistics consultant, researching and writing about Nigerian languages. Steve loves promoting clear and natural translations of Scripture! Sonia serves as administrative assistant to the SIL Nigeria Director. Sonia loves keeping things organized and running smoothly!
