Wycliffe Singapore celebrated its 35th anniversary on Nov. 2, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church in Singapore. In a family event for ages 7 to 100, nearly 100 people gathered to mark the occasion while exploring ways to be involved in missions through Bible translation.
Founded in 1983 with just a few members, Wycliffe Singapore’s staff has since grown to more than 30. Members have served in various locations in Africa, Asia and the Pacific.

Meanwhile, on the same day Wycliffe Malaysia marked 25 years of service in Bible translation. Some 200 people participated in the event held in Kuala Lumpur, including members of supporting churches and partner organizations.
Wycliffe Malaysia was incorporated in 1994. Over the past 25 years, the organization has sent out 42 personnel to serve in 14 countries in the areas of Bible translation, literacy and other language-related ministries.
